Knife-Hand Routine
The Knife-hand routine contains 5 movements performed one after the other during linework. It is quite common for some of these to be performed with a loud kihap, especially the final movement and the jumping movement!

Step forwards from the ready position to perform a knife-hand strike with the right hand. The normal starting position is paralell ready stance.

Step forwards and turn anti-clockwise to perform another outward knife-hand strike. Note: you are performing a left knife-hand strike in a right L-stance.

Jump and turn clockwise while performing a knife-hand strike. You should be in the air while performing the technique. The finish position should be similar to the first movement.

Step forwards into a Left Walking Stance while performing a high twin inward knife-hand strike.
|
|
|
Step Backwards to form a right walking stance while executing a reverse downward knife-hand strike.
